What we offer

This cottage gives couples the opportunity to take a step back in time, and relax in a romantic and luxurious retreat. Whether you are looking for a short-stay getaway, a romantic holiday, a weekend away or you’re wanting an extended holiday, 1876 Stonemasons will be able to meet your needs.

With boasting zoned central air-conditioned rooms for comfort in summer and winter, and a comfortable historic living room with a large screen TV. If you wish to settle in and stay inside, you can play some board games or even relax in the two-person spa bath.

We will provide you with basic essentials to keep you going throughout your stay.

In your private bedroom it offers a four poster bed complete with linen and electric blanket, wardrobe, and pillows for your luxury. Stepping into the ensuite with a large spa bath  shower, toilet and ornate cornices and hand basin. Supply of towels and bathrobes for use and an electric drying rack for your towels. 

In the hallway you have plenty of tourism information and maps for you to explore the Copper Coast and more broadly Yorke Peninsula.

FAQ

Driving – If you are driving from Adelaide CBD it will take approximately 2.5 hours and is a gorgeous drive filled with beautiful small townships, local artwork and serene landscapes. There are a number of car hire providers in Adelaide. 

Bus / CoachesYorke Peninsula Coaches have regular bus services which run from Adelaide to Moonta Bay. It will take approximately 3 hours and will cost $22-$44. This service does not run on Sundays and you must book.

Taxi – If you book a Taxi you could be charged anywhere upwards of $380 and we cannot guarantee there will be many drivers willing to travel the distance.

1876 Stonemasons is a small Bed & Breakfast with limited cooking facilities. There is a microwave, toaster and mini frisge available. Upon request we can provide you with a BBQ. 

We clean all of your dishes, all you have to do is place all your dirty crockery in the container and leave out the front of the property and we will wash everything. There is a sink in the bathroom but we do not expect you to clean any dishes or wash any linen.

If you are staying a long period of time and want to wash / dry your clothes we have an in house laundering option for $5.
